Welcome to TACT

Learn with us – Technical Assistance, Consultation, and Training (TACT) plays a crucial role in transforming practices in public education by providing comprehensive assistance to organizations dedicated to addressing issues of human conflict and resolution. By collaborating with both higher education and public education institutions, TACT helps develop tailored strategies and action plans. This support enhances internal capacity, enabling institutions to implement changes that promote conflict resolution. TACT's engagement with public education organizations ensures that the principles of addressing human conflict and resolution permeate across educational sectors, fostering a more harmonious educational landscape.

TACT is dedicated to promoting effective conflict resolution and enhancing communication within educational institutions. By providing technical assistance, consultation, and training, TACT fosters environments where human conflict and resolution principles are integrated into organizational practices

Intergroup/Intercultural Communication

Conducting needs assessments, developing cultural awareness and sensitivity training, fostering inclusive communication environments, creating cross-cultural communication resources, and evaluating communication practices.

Conflict Management in Organizations

Conducting conflict assessments, developing conflict management strategies, establishing communication protocols, implementing conflict resolution interventions, and monitoring conflict management effectiveness.

Organizational, Institutional, and Departmental Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, and Belonging (IDEA=B) Planning and Evaluation

Conducting comprehensive assessments, developing IDEA vision and goals, creating strategic action plans, implementing training programs, and establishing monitoring mechanisms.

Course and Training Curriculum Design

Conducting needs assessments, defining learning objectives, designing instructional materials, implementing instructional strategies, assessing learning outcomes, evaluating and revising curricula, ensuring accessibility, incorporating technology, collaborating with subject matter experts, and staying updated on advancements.

Conference and Institute Curriculum Design, Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation

Conducting needs assessments, setting goals, developing curriculum and session plans, managing implementation logistics, engaging participants, and evaluating for continuous improvement.

Training Topics

Offering training on inclusion, diversity, equity, accessibility, belonging (IDEA=B), sexual health equity, gender and gender identity, implicit bias, transgender and non-gender conforming youth, trauma and health equity, building inclusive classrooms, building inclusive higher education institutions, race and media, and diverse corporate social responsibility strategies.
